The text is super clear, the picture is beautiful. The QHD resolution on this monitor is worth upgrading from FHD for a little more money. White looks like white and black looks like dark black. A plus is the ability to turn off the power button light. Be sure to change the response time to "Fast" on the front button. I also turn off the USB power in standby mode to save power. The colors are great right out of the box and I didn't have to tweak anything other than these two.

It's a Dell screen, they "always work" because Dell has something else they do very well. Sharp picture and perfect resolution for those who can't work in 4K.

The picture looks pretty good. I like how many movement options the cabin has. I also like that it has real buttons for menu controls instead of touch buttons which are harder to use and see. I wish it had more ports, but HDMI + Displayport + USB is fine. I feel QHD resolution is at it's limit at this size - text can be quite small even at 125% Windows font size. I use it as a secondary display, QHD is better at 27 inches. I really like the bezel size for multi-monitor configurations.

This monitor has thin bezels, consistent colors, and looks great on my desk. I like that you can toggle the power button backlight on or off as it's bright and can be distracting. I don't really care about color accuracy but wanted a good high resolution display.

A very good monitor. I got it as a second monitor with the Dell 24 Gaming Monitor (S2417DG). It's a little different in that it has a matte finish versus the glossy finish of a gaming monitor, but other than that it's perfect. It's worth going from 1080p to 1440p in games.

The product was sent defective and with broken pixels. I will most likely buy direct from Dell, at least in the same price range, I just wanted free two day shipping. Now I have to return this product.

This monitor is a good 1440p display. It's fairly small at 24 inches, so the pixel density is great. The only issue I had was that it wouldn't output a full 1440p at 60Hz on Linux and would cause tearing in games like CS:GO. It can be bypassed, but it's not easy.

After many hours of research, this was the 24-inch IPS monitor with the best overall budget. If you look at the specs, what sets this monitor apart from the rest is that it's a high definition, backlit IPS. All others are either 1080 or 1440 EDGELIT. I just ordered Dell speakers that mount on the bottom. Ultrasharp does not support this and is much more expensive. The newer USB-Cs are similarly priced, but again feature side lighting and 1080p resolution.

I bought a couple of these monitors and was nervous that 24 inches at 1440p might be a bit small, but I was able to scale text up to 125% in Windows and get a great, crisp picture with DisplayPort cables on my Surface Pro. Financier, the Excel screen is amazing, I can see the entire column AE at 125% and AM at 100% (but that's way too low). I've had Dell monitors for almost 15 years and wouldn't go for anything else.

Would have given it 5 stars but came with a dead pixel and I'm really scared of pixel clustering. It's still a great monitor; I switched from a 17 inch 4k laptop to this 24 inch 2k laptop and was really impressed with the ppi, very sharp. The colors are great although they can't be calibrated properly, they're also very bright and have good contrast, but the dead pixels are disrupting my workflow :( Hoping for an answer

I upgraded from 1080P monitors with a different DPI and color balance. Having these two in higher resolution and coordinated colors is great! The picture is awesome and the usability is great too!

In a previous review, I gave it three stars because of the lack of a power cord. Well, the power cord arrived on June 26, 2020. The monitor is great, worth every penny. Five stars!

The monitor has excellent colors and brightness and fantastic resolution compared to a 1080 monitor. Why it is making a high-pitched squeal, however, is beyond me. I had already had Dell replace it and sent me a new one under the factory warranty. The same applies to the replacement. I suppose if you have hearing loss you won't mind as you won't hear the high pitched sound but for me it gives me a terrible headache and it's not worth it. Clear manufacturing defect. I'm guessing their quality…

There were a few surprises here. This is advertised. This is a good but not amazing product. former. Rear panel connections are limited. It doesn't appear to have speaker or headphone output, but that's to be expected. There are USB ports. There are no obvious dead pixels.

Feels a bit cheap but overall good quality for the price. Decent clarity and color although I use two and have calibrated them to match better.

This monitor was a waste of money, I don't get any positive feedback. No matter how I try to calibrate it, white is either bluish or greenish which is terrible and makes graphic design very difficult. When I searched for it, I found that others had the same problem and even Dell didn't have a solution. I even tried calibrating it with my Xrite device but that didn't help. Unless you need exact colors, the monitor is probably fine.
