ZERO STARS! The return window for this item closed on May 24th. It's May 28th and a pin broke off in my socket. Not only did I not pay for this charging cable, but now I have to fix the outlet. Don't buy, don't buy, don't buy. I can't say enough, and based on other reviews (which I wish I had read before purchasing this item), this item has caused a lot of problems for a lot of people.

The left item is the one I received from the seller and the right item is the original charger that came with my laptop. I specifically searched for the charger by model number to avoid getting the wrong charger. Seems to work. Gets a little hotter than I expected but that's what cheap electronics do. I have some kind of internal resistance or draw current because it sparkles every time I plug it in - ESPECIALLY if it's connected to my laptop at the time. However, do not assume that it is a Dell brand. No, that is not so.

Product received and used on July 6th (2016). I did notice it getting a little warm but it charged my laptop so I left it. It's now October 22nd and a few weeks ago the computer didn't recognize the charger (it was a 45w charger, not a 65w charger), although it's still charging the battery.
