Don't get me wrong, this is a great 4K monitor for the money. However, I do notice small lines moving across the screen from time to time. I would recommend it for everyday use, but not for gaming.

The monitor has a great picture. As well as programmable keys. I can easily switch between my computers and work quickly. Follow-up: There were some issues with the intermittent monitor turning off. Tried different computers, cables. Called support and after talking and solving a few issues they agreed the problem was most likely the monitor and sent me a new monitor which arrived the next day. The monitor's legs sit snugly on my desk with an 11-inch Macbook Pro laptop. Negative - Thunderbolt cable doesn't work (I'm trying 2 cables), but the included miniDP-DP cable fixes the problem. The miniDP port may not work. Minor issue with the loading screen after hibernation and/or reboot. 4 stars for minor inconveniences with DP connectors.

I bought 2 of these monitors for my video editing station to upgrade to 24" from Dell. Scaling the resolution to display correctly from my Mid 2012 Mac Pro was a little annoying as I can't get full 4K resolution without everything that's included. the screen looks microscopic. For the price, this monitor is great. The field of view can be a bit wider, but field of view is never a priority with monitors. 4K is great and compared to 5K and 8K prices it's definitely the way to go at the moment.

The picture quality is excellent, I chose it to match my other S2817Q so I can use two monitors. The only real issue I have is that these monitors are not VESA compliant for mounting. This forces you to use a third-party part to install it on the stand. (which works but hurts)

I am very happy with this monitor. I use it for code development. At first I couldn't set my computer to the correct resolution, so the image looked blurry. I then plugged in my MacBook Pro and chose the 4K setting. I was amazed at the picture quality (Mac OS Sierra). Now I need to replace my computer which clearly does not support the optimal resolution for this monitor. The speakers inside are lame, but I have an audio system so I don't use them. I'm new to the 4K video world but wow! What I was missing I took this monitor and traded in my old graphics card for a new one that supports 4K. Connected everything on my PC and BOOM! Everything worked. The picture is amazing. The sound is better than most computer monitors. I am very happy with this purchase.

Everything is great, except for the viewing angle! Looking down from above dramatically changes the color and contrast of the image. So if you're interested in graphic design, film editing, color grading, and any design work that requires accurate color and contrast, you'll find your head bobbing to check color. Uncertainty sucks.

Upon unboxing and plugging into mine I immediately noticed a slight buzzing charging noise, didn't really think much about it, it went 4k for my PS4 and in less than twenty minutes the monitor exploded. At first I thought this monitor was junk because of washed out colors. The key to getting the most out of this monitor in Windows 10 is to use the 150% display setting (instead of 100%) - the quality has greatly improved. If you see blurry or blurry image, try it.
