The best espresso machine in this price range!

I have tried Mr.Coffee, Krupps etc over the last few years and most have had problems and had to be replaced after about a year (or less) of use. Hopefully this one lasts a long time (I'll have to wait and see). But the first impressions are as follows: 1. Espresso is prepared quickly! Others in this price range take a long time for a cup or two of espresso.2. Since the espresso is made quickly, I thought maybe it wasn't strong enough, but again I was pleasantly wrong - the espresso is good!3…

Pros
  • Easily prepare lattes and cappuccinos with the rotating jet for the perfect drink every time.
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Good car but should be higher

I bought this car because it was reasonably priced and had good reviews. It makes a good espresso, haven't tried it for a cappucino yet and I haven't been able to boil the milk for my latte yet because when I get my cup out and pour in the milk the machine is ready but we're working on it again. My main gripe is that when plugged in, the espresso spout is too big for a regular cup to fit in. Yes, I could just buy a set of small espresso cups, but when I'm making a latte I need a larger cup…

Pros
  • Easy controls with switch and indicator light
Cons
  • So-so

Used 5 years, love it, bought a second one for the office

Love this little machine! I bought the first one in 2004 after reading excellent reviews about the quality of the "creams". We have been using this machine every day for 5 years and look forward to it every morning. I'm an Americano lover and found a way to get the strongest, smoothest flavor out of this machine by making a double shot, then adding half an inch of boiling water, then heavy cream. Delicious! Here in Seattle, I use local coffee beans at home from Lighthouse Roasters or Longbeach…

Pros
  • Safe operation with patented vapor pressure protection cap and 8.5 oz heat resistant glass carafe

Great Espresso Maker --- Terrible Cappuccino Maker

I was so excited when this package arrived! I love making cappuccino and haven't been able to do it for a long time. However, I still cannot make a cappuccino. Part of the espresso machine works properly but the steam generator/milk frother never worked. I've tried EVERYTHING! At first I thought I just needed to practice with time and all since you can only froth the milk while the espresso is brewing. At least that's what the instructions say. I have not even been able to heat milk to a warm…

Pros
  • Make two espressos at the same time with the handy 2-cup adapter.
Cons
  • working speed
