Delta Creative Ceramcoat Assorted PROMOADA3 Review

I bought these for miniature painting and wouldn't recommend them for that, but they were very cheap and good for teaching. I've switched to more expensive and specialized paints but still use them as a primer and some of the miniatures I've made with them look good.

I just started painting mandalas and found out early on that acrylic paint in a bottle is usually too thick so you need to buy ($$) and add a medium. But not with this paint brand. The Ceramcoat brand is the ideal consistency for spot application. I recommend this brand in all points of the group.

I bought this set, because I had a bottle and it was the creamiest with the best coverage of all the different brands of craft paint I have. The set I received did not cover well. In fact, after e.g. 5 coats of yellow, it was not possible to obtain a continuous coating. The colors in this set are in most cases lighter than the cheap Delta types and the cheap Apple barrel.

The colors are amazing! Vibrant and beautiful colors that blend easily to create any shade. They hold well, especially on porous surfaces, but wash off hands easily. With a drop of dish soap and a tiny brush, I even removed dried paint from an upholstered chair! I have used them for painting on wooden surfaces, canvas, walls and terracotta! Bottles of two ounces each. I suggest you also buy an extra black and white as I use them in almost every project.
