Delta Faucet RP60400 Leland Valve Review

I gave this part 5 stars even though I sent it back because it was the wrong part. The quality was great and I'm sure it would have been easy to install if it was the right part for my faucet.

The item is excellent and works as it should. The seller delivered quickly. Do yourself a favor with Delta faucets and keep your purchase documents if you buy the product, for starters - if I did that, Delta would replace it for free!

According to the Delta website, this is a replacement part for the Lahara® Dual Lever Basin Faucet with Center Set Model #: 2538-SSMPU-DST. Unless it's NO! The diameter of the chuck is larger than the hole it is designed to fit. Very disappointed. I will no longer buy replacement parts for Delta faucets. This isn't Revain's fault, FYI.

I ordered this part to fix a leak in my bathroom faucet handle - model #3578-TP-DST. I checked the Delta website and this part #RP60400 was marked as a replacement part for my faucet model. Delta themselves also confirmed this was the correct part before I ordered it. No, that is not so. It's too big to even fit properly in the handle. Now that my faucet is disassembled I'm guessing what I really need is part RP15513 based on pictures of it online and comparing it to the stem assembly I pulled…

Edit: After getting this part directly from Delta and it still didn't fit, I finally called Delta Customer Service and found out about the problem by speaking to their helpful customer service folks. I've been told that they regularly update the interior of their faucets but keep the style and what you see identical. To identify my faucet, I simply checked the Delta website, found the exact same faucet, and ordered a replacement part for it that is different from my identical faucet. Delta let…
