My bathtub is older, tinted, with swing arm and a larger than average drain opening, 1-7/8". Return was hassle free. The stars in the review mattered. I understand that there really is no universal one.

I had a Moen shower head with a Grohe overflow cover that lasted 20 years but eventually rusted and failed. This delta seems solid. I've seen some unbranded brands in big stores but they were either plastic or cheap. It's hard to find other quality products at this price.

Ultimately it's an overflow plate and for the price I can't complain. But it came in packaging that looked like it had been resealed (original product inside?) and the screws were different than the photo. But then again, at the end of the day it's just a plate and I really have no complaints or issues with the product.

I can't believe the store near me doesn't have this part, of course they have other types but not like this one with two screws and no handle to lift the drain . This part fit perfectly and easily and was done in a minute. The only thing I noticed is that the picture shows two socket head screws, but they came with two Phillips head screws. I don't care as long as they're good!

Works great! I had to go to the hardware store to get much shorter screws than the ones in the kit. Also, there is a significant gap to the bathtub finish which requires some dremel work on the inside of the panel hole cover (there is too much metal curling in around the screw holes), but I attribute this mainly to living in an old house with somewhat outdated sanitary facilities. It's easy to solve both problems and now it looks good!

I bought this item because my old overflow was leaking and we also replaced the bathtub drain with one that didn't need a level on the old one. This spill plate is of excellent quality and is heavily chrome plated for years of use. Unfortunately the screws were too short and I couldn't fit them into the overflow port. I went to a big store and bought one of the spill plates with longer screws. I used a Delta skid plate and locally purchased end cap bolts.
