At the age of 66, it was harder for me to get in the truck and in the back of the truck because I have arthritis in my lower back. I tied a rope to the top, climbed into the truck, and used the rope to pull the ladder up. Much better than falling on ** and trying to get up.

Light but feels flimsy. The top step has a small dent from stepping on it. My husband weighs less than 175 pounds, which is well under the recommended weight for a ladder, but it doesn't look like it's safe if it's already denting when stepped on.

As a little woman, it's very difficult for me to reach the things my big friend puts on the cupboards. This step stool was a great purchase for me. Now I can easily reach the top of cabinets, clean fan blades, and touch clouds! (Okay, maybe not the last one, it only has three steps) Sturdy and compact for easy storage.

This step stool seems solid enough and meets our needs in terms of height and weight. My biggest concern is that the plastic tips on the ends allow them to slip on our wooden floors. My daughter was on it tonight and it moved about an inch as she leaned on the top shelf! We'll be looking for heavy rubber tips to solve this problem, but for that reason I've reduced the star rating to four.

The step stool has 2 steps, both of which are too narrow to step on or stand on. I was trying to replace an old two-tier step stool that I use when painting crown molding or carving ceiling paint. The reason I gave it three stars is because they have a slightly misaligned shaft which they had to go through quality control before getting to me. I mean it's solid so I don't fall, but I won't look for a plastic support piece or a set of napkins to tuck it under your foot to keep it from wobbling. I bought this because the reviews were good but now I wish I had just spent about $20 more on a brand I knew well. This step stool is an accident and I would not recommend it to anyone I care about.
