No Freeze - Ice Cream Makers

I must have gotten the "lemon" as the mostly positive reviews made me buy this product. However, the ice cream never froze, not even to a "soft serve" consistency. It's no fun disappointing family while we're waiting for ice cream. I have frozen the bowl for over 24 hours, giving the bowl ample time to freeze. I also followed the directions and shocked the bowl to make sure it was properly frozen. The thing spun for almost an hour and the mixture never thickened. The mixture was pretty cold…

Easy, fun and delicious!

With Ice Cream Machine on my six year old Christmas list for the second year running, Santa decided he really wanted one enough to get one. And lime green at the same time! As soon as Hot Wheels shut down a few days after Christmas, requests to use the damn thing began to pile up. Wonderful Soft Ice Cream

We tried two different types of desserts in this ice cream maker. We first made German chocolate ice cream from a recipe I found on the allrecipes website. Served soft is the best description, and then it hardens even more in the freezer. Don't expect ice cream to set any firmer than a soft portion.
