I had a similar brush that was many years old and had to be replaced before it broke. This brush is great. I use it to smooth my bangs when blow drying. It's very expensive for a basic hairbrush, but it's not a basic brush, it's a special design that's hard to find. I gave it three stars in the "Value for Money" section because I think it's overpriced. However, this is a great brush.

This is my second. The first became too caked with a hair product after years of heavy use. I love this brush but I don't use it for blow drying. I use it on dry hair after blow-drying to comb through with a flat iron. My hair is silkier and smoother with no harsh ends when I use it. I saw a YouTuber using this so I bought it and it's amazing I thought by dividing my hair into sections I do it like this smooth as can be but when I added this little guy to my hair straightening process, it makes it a hundred times better, smoother and tangle free and it's so easy to use I just place it in a section and use my hot hair tools to pull it out , and the difference is amazing, I can't believe I've lived without her for so long.

I love Denman products so I thought this would be another great brush for my collection but it didn't live up to its name. The brush bristles aren't "rough" enough for me, they're too soft, which is odd since most of their brushes are rougher than usual.
