to work as well as it turned out. I was incredibly happy with the number of snails I was able to catch with this rod. My aquarium is now much less crowded with snails. The only downside is that due to the design it can't get snails on or even near the bottom, but that's a small downside for the price and performance.

I've been thinking about buying this for months... I honestly should have ordered it sooner. I thought it was too good to be true but it really works. I have an influx of snails in my tank that I can't get rid of because the eggs are transparent so I can't see them until they hatch, this has made my life so much easier!

From the finished reviews I was a bit worried. It took some practice to figure out the right amount of pressure to get the wheel spinning, but it works very well. A few snails escape (swimming and hatching), but overall this is a pretty handy tool. I could just use a trellis but that seems to push a lot of them around the glass instead of pushing it down and it also gets stuck on the plants. I like it and it's satisfying 😊

Well you must love the little crustaceans, but they can be seriously annoying, and VERY numerous! Killer snails are good as long as they don't kill all the whites... Yeah-ah-ah-ah. This ingenious little device works well for picking up small snails from the aquarium walls. It's a little difficult to learn how to use this tool, but not difficult. I see this as part of the solution to the snail blossom problem. Both good and funny.
