no clear tuning instructions

Setting up a new tuner shouldn't be that difficult. Instructions are not included. Only online and not so much. I still can't get my two speakers to work. Have a system with seven speakers and one subwoofer. I can't figure out why the two aren't pinging the mic.

Good sound. But no sub.

After 6 months the subwoofer side of this 600.oo dollar AVR no longer worked. Dissatisfied. Now I'm finding out how well Denon is doing with their warranty and service. Oh you can believe I'll leave anyone looking for an AVR as is. I'll be back.

Amazing receiver with crisp sound

I upgraded my Yamaha RX-V379 to this receiver after years and countless hours of failure. The difference is incredible! Such a huge improvement in sound quality and overall performance. The step to the next receiver level was the right choice. My Pioneer Andrew Jones speakers sound incredibly crisp and clear.

Great Receiver in Receiver & Amplifier

I had a Denon AVR 4800 many years ago and loved it. I recently bought a house that was wired throughout the house and needed a receiver. This one didn't disappoint. Easy to install and use, and the sound quality is great! If only they would let me sign it. The delivery notes say it was handed over to the resident, but in fact it was left in plain view on my doorstep.

Product as advertised

The setup wizard worked great. Easily connect to the internet wirelessly. Our previous Denon AVR-S900W worked great for over 5 years but didn't have a separate amp port like the Denon AVR-X1600H. I don't like the fact that Denon has reduced the power output per channel from 185W to 80W from the S900W to the X1600H. I also don't like the fact that you have to download the owner's manual from the internet to get full product information, but I think most manufacturers go that route.

Works perfectly. Picky.

Does the great job I asked - works with a large TV, phono out player and @at least 3 HDMI gaming systems in full rotation But mine Nickname for him is "Picky" because he's so damn specific about how he works. For example, although I've often specified which port is which, the PS5 doesn't "see" it (then turned on, works) until I turn on the Xbox and switch channels. Then it works immediately as desired.
