A MUST for felting!

Well I'm VERY glad I bought this rug after deciding for some reason that my BED was the right place to try my hand at felting. This is NOT a good place for the log. But this pillow is just TOP! Now if only I could learn NOT TO WEAR THE FINGERS THAT WORK!

Pros
  • Accessories for needle felting
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

The foam sticks too much to the fur.

This foam is terrible for needle felting. Wool sticks to the foam and doesn't reinforce as it should. It sticks to it so strongly that when felting, a piece of foam rose up and got stuck in the wool I was working on. I've tried other foam pads and never had this problem. Incredibly disappointed and thought it would be a lot better given the reviews.

Pros
  • Craft and Sewing
Cons
  • High Price

Whatever you say, this is a notepad and it works

I use this notepad all the time. No, it's not fancy, but it gets the job done. You have to practice though. There's a learning curve, even though it's basically just a piece of styrofoam. You must clean it after each dyeing, otherwise a mess can occur and your wool will be mixed with the last wool that was processed on the rug. Just remove the excess hair and you're good to go. Good price, easy to use. No frills but works.
