A good product. Best in Oxygen

Still in the car 5 years later. I suggest buying both the top and bottom sensors as the old one will fail soon after the new one is installed.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Great Price

Good price! on oxygen

Great price compared to the Motorcraft brand. Allegedly, Density is an OEM for factory oxygen sensors. I just installed it and haven't heard any complaints from the technicians.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • So so

Work excellent! - Spares

I replaced two oxygen sensors on my 1995 Ford Explorer just for preventative maintenance at 110,000 miles and let me tell you how they improved overall performance! I didn't have the check engine light until the sensors were replaced and after that my engine responds better and I'm consistently getting 2+ mpg better on about 5 tanks of gas. The investment was profitable!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Fit 98 Ranger 2.5: Replacement Parts

This is an upstream (pre-catalyst) oxygen sensor for a '98 Ford Ranger 2.5. This is the OE style version, Denso also sells a universal O2 sensor for the 98 2.5 part number 234-4212. This is a well built, high quality sensor. It ran great with no issues, no check engine lights, misfires, poor performance, etc. Revain's price of $30.90 is great. My local Autozone sells this particular sensor for $49.99 plus tax.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Compatibility

Easy to install and works great!

I bought this to replace a faulty oxygen sensor on a 1999 Ford Ranger. After I uninstalled the old one, the total install time for it is less than 5 minutes. A few tips: 1. ONLY warm or cold engine! The exhaust system is very hot and you could burn yourself if you do not wait until it cools down after driving. 2. Spray the old O2 sensor liberally (not the wires) with PB Blaster or other penetrating oil. After you drink it, go. Come back in 30 minutes. This gives the penetrating oil enough time…
