These Denso #3417 Iridium Spark Plugs are not factory gapped. The manual for the 2012 Toyota Camry with the 2.5L engine says the clearance should be 0.043 inches and they were 0.038 inches apart. So I had to use a gap tool to set them to manual specs. They increased gas mileage, and it works just like above.

They are known for their high quality. When I ordered them they were described as gaps. Not only did they have no gap as prescribed in my vehicle handbook (I didn't expect them to be correct for every car on the market) but they had no continuous gap from one connector to the next in the package at all. Make sure you have a clearance adjuster to set them to the specs outlined in your vehicle's owner's manual.

Purchased 4 Denso #3417 Iridium Spark Plugs from SPEEDSTAFFSALES. I installed them in March 2020. The car now fires with new spark plugs after only 5,349 miles. I checked the candles, the gap on them opened up to 0.075, 0.076, 0.070, 0.073 versus the original 0.043 gap I set them at. The center electrode is burnt out. These spark plugs are defective or counterfeit.

The plugs I received (left plug in photo) didn't look original to me so I bought a set of identical Denso plugs from Toyota to compare (right plug in photo). Turns out the kit I received didn't have a blue iridium center electrode tip. The measured resistance of the center electrode is only 2.6 kΩ (should be 5 kΩ according to Denso specification). For my Rav4 these are ideal candles, but with a gap. for Toyota is 0.043" and these "pre-gap" connectors had a different gap on each connector ranging from 0.023" to 0.035".
