Done: Flush

Perfect fit. The old seals on the back did not have to be used. Brand new full size. Cools as intended at the right pressure.

Denso does it best in air conditioning

The Denso compressor has served me well to date and I expect it will continue to serve me well. It fitted my car perfectly, arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

Will not fit 2014 Hyundai Tucson as stated in description

Product came with no user manual and will not fit 2014 Hyundai Tucson. The bolts on the Hyundai Tucson are not offset in parallel like on this supercharger.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Upgrade available

Excellent replacement for OEM

Installed on Hyundai Tucson 2.4L. Good quality, works great, just wish it came with new o-rings for the lines. There was no oil in the compressor so make sure you have your brand of oil.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors appeared

bad clutches - air conditioning

The clutch on these compressors is poorly made. The original supercharger clutch failed at 63,000 miles, just after Kia's 60,000 mile warranty expired. Was replaced by this compressor. Now, 28 months later, at 102,000 miles, the replaced compressor's clutch failed. Was working great until that happened. The clutch is not a separate part on these cars, it is integrated with the supercharger and I have been told that the only way to replace the clutch is to replace the entire supercharger.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
