In the end I didn't need it

Although I didn't need it I keep it for a rainy day as it's not too expensive compared to the local dealership and mine eventually stopped working. Nothing compares to an old (2007) payback truck!

Worked fantastic on my 2005 GMC 2500HD Sierra

Worked fantastic on my 2005 GMC 2500HD Sierra it fit perfectly and as described is the OEM brand for this truck. You'll need to vacuum the entire system before changing the coolant, but you can borrow a pump from your local auto parts store.

Pros
  • A/C
Cons
  • Out of style

Now ice maker! for spare parts

Premium quality part from Denso! Fits my 2002 2500HD 6.0 LQ4. When replacing the compressor, always replace the accumulator, orifice tube and gaskets. Also flush the condenser if the compressor has crashed. To avoid damage to the new compressor. The exchange took me about 1 hour.

Pros
  • Engine cooling and air conditioning
Cons
  • Some faults

The second connector is behind the compressor.

The second connector on the back of the compressor is only used if you have an SUV with a rear air conditioner. Don't be alarmed if your new compressor has a plug on the back and your original doesn't. The only connector required for operation is the connector that sits behind the pulley.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Some difficulties
