Works just as well as the ones that come.

Worked just as well as the ones that come with the Scion FRS. I needed a replacement as I broke one while changing tires. However, you must program your computer to read the new sensor.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Buyers beware of replacement sensors

This was marked as pre-programmed and was compatible with the 2016 Toyota Camry. After paying $30 to install it doesn't work, drives the car for days thinking it takes time. with other sensors. Just had it checked by a technician, it's NOT COMPATIBLE. This is the third time I've come across crap on Amazon.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Interchangeable

This sensor advertises that you don't need any programming.

This sensor advertises that you don't need any programming, just install it correctly and the computer will be able to recognize it. Took it to a professional tire dealer. I bought a new tire, checked the air pressure, reset the tmps sensor on the government box and I still have the sensor on. So much time and money if I had known this I would have gone to a Toyota dealer instead and gotten it from them

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Crumpled

Not Denso OEM.: Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS)

Just for your information. This is not an OEM Denso. Denso OEMs are manufactured by Pacific Industries. What the markings show in the picture. There are no visitors. These are aftermarket models that you can't find much cheaper elsewhere. I thought it was a good price for Denso OEM. I'm not saying they don't work. But they are not as advertised. If I needed aftermarkets I could get them cheaper, for 1/3 the cost of these, and they are identical. i give it back I am attaching a photo of what Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • I won't tell

Relearning was a problem for tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)

In short. The sensor works great, but relearning is painful. The auto parts store across the street asked for $69.95, Pepboy $40, but "not sure" their tool would work. Another tire shop near my house tried to use their $25 maxiTPMS tool to no avail. All 4 places advised me to come to the dealer as this is an imported car. I then called them to check the price and it turned out to be $120. if the job cannot be executed due to an incompatibility of the pre-installed sensor. $120 has yet to beโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous
