Relearning was a problem for tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)

In short. The sensor works great, but relearning is painful. The auto parts store across the street asked for $69.95, Pepboy $40, but "not sure" their tool would work. Another tire shop near my house tried to use their $25 maxiTPMS tool to no avail. All 4 places advised me to come to the dealer as this is an imported car. I then called them to check the price and it turned out to be $120. if the job cannot be executed due to an incompatibility of the pre-installed sensor. $120 has yet to be paid, with the option to buy an OEM from their parts department and pay more for a clean install, or go home and do nothing. I kept calling hopelessly and finally drove to Firestone by car with no positive expectations. Surprisingly, they did it in half an hour for $19.99. At the end of the day it was a big welcome. I hope my discovery can help you if you find yourself in the same situation as me while reading. Don't give up and don't let the dealer cut your wallet. Much luck
