🔌 Denso 671-8062 OEM Replacement Wire Set Review

The kit worked great on my 2004 Sierra 1500 bench cab 5.3 liter engine. Simply remove the old wiring, swap out the heat shields, and reinstall. They appear to be a bit longer than standard wires, but that made installation easier and took the guesswork out of different length wires.

My truck has square casters (Mitsubishi) and fits perfectly. They were a little longer than the original but still fit well. The heat shields fit perfectly over the power plugs. Came with dielectric grease. These are 7mm connector wires and they appeared to be slightly smaller in diameter than the original ones which I assume were 8mm.

There are 2 different ones that according to Revain were installed correctly. Based on the reviews I chose this set as it was longer. I have a 2006 Chev Tahoe 5.3L. I have no issues with this set, not sure how shorter the other set was/is but these were ok. Been using it for a while and no problems. Time will indeed tell. I will update if anything changes. The price and other reviews influenced the purchase of this set.

Very easy to install, remove old ones, change or replace heat shields (if needed). Most importantly, at least on my car, 2 "clicks" were felt when attaching to the coils. I figured I'd ride until I noticed a "clean" area where the old boots were covering the ignition coils, I gave them a bit more and of course right where they belong. Also, after securing them to the spark plugs, gently pull on the heat shield to lock the springs in place. The car started, all 8 cylinders ran smoothly.

Ideal replacement but make sure you know what type of coil you have as the length of the cable will vary slightly depending on any coils you may have installed. My coils didn't have part numbers (12558693 as listed on Revain's wire description page) so I had to look up pictures and figure it all out.
