Ever since I got braces at the tender age of 45, I've been using dental floss regularly. I used DenTek orthoflosses which they no longer make. These flosses are made in the same style. Instead of being a straight piece, the head is turned to one side. I find them much easier to use. They're not easy to find in stores, but they were in stock and cheaper than what I often pay at the store.

If you haven't used these types of floss, TRY THEM. I describe them as "3D" flossing and they are much easier than using flat (2D) flossing or regular flossing. I was having trouble finding it at my local store so I searched Revain. They really make you want to floss. That is a good price; I ordered 1 bag but will probably order a set of 2 bags for a higher price next time.

I'm a retired dentist and that's great. I floss every night and usually break my floss 1-3 times, but I've never broken one. I hated the lateral floss as it was difficult to get to the molars properly and whatever type I used broke the floss so I never recommended it. I've been using them for over 10 years. I haven't always had dental insurance, so I try to take care of myself. others just don't have the same angle as floss, the selection is small enough to fit between most of my spaces. I hate it when food gets stuck in my teeth during the day. I carry it with me all the time. The only drawback is the weak dental floss. A piece of dental floss is fine (although I prefer the head the other way, I obviously knew it wasn't , when I bought) and the thread seems quite thick, strong and tight, the problem is the toothpick. The bristle part is quite thin so it doesn't get caught between the teeth, which fit tightly together. I'm not a dentist, but it probably suits my teeth well that it fits between them, but there are teeth that I just can't fit it between.

I've been buying these thread sets for a number of years and they've always been great. But my recent purchase of these is just awful! The floss completely broke between multiple teeth after brushing, I had to use four of these to clean all my teeth and ended up having to pick out the floss that was stuck between my teeth!

I love this DenTek Complete Clean floss! I hate flossing, but this floss makes flossing quick and easy! Regular dental floss is so annoying and if you have TMJ problems you need to open your jaw wider to use regular dental floss. With them you can easily get into all the hard-to-reach places without opening your mouth too wide.

Some of my teeth are very tight. Regular filament, gliding filament, and gliding filament all work to varying degrees, but I need a gripping device rather than regular filament or a filament holder to reach all spaces, especially around the 3D molars. I usually use Oral B Glide toothpastes. I have to say straight away that the DenTek version here is nowhere near the same quality and I wouldn't buy it again. I really like this pick shape because I find it easier to use than the other straight types. I was hoping it would be a cheaper alternative, but it isn't. I just went and used a DenTek pick.
