The choice is probably useless for people with nice teeth
A piece of dental floss is fine (although I prefer the head the other way, I obviously knew it wasn't , when I bought) and the thread seems quite thick, strong and tight, the problem is the toothpick. The bristle part is quite thin so it doesn't get caught between the teeth, which fit tightly together. I'm not a dentist, but it probably suits my teeth well that it fits between them, but there are teeth that I just can't fit it between.
