Had to modify strap

Did not match my cairn. I had to redo the velcro straps. The top straps go through the tail and fasten under the belly. This would irritate the surgical site of sterilization. I had to cut the top straps and move the velcro to make the bottom straps match the velcro on her back. Now it fits great.

Easy to put on, roll up and clean!

I really liked how easy it is to put on, unfold and clean. I bought these after my dog had extensive surgery for bladder stones and the size was perfect. He is a Bichon Shih Tzu mix and is the perfect size medium. I used this rescue suit with its cone so it can't get to the incision.

Great help after surgery!

Very happy with this purchase. Our dog is quite active so even after the surgery we couldn't get him to not fight with a Kegel or donut. It stayed with her and she could not reach her incision. We went for a large 50lb pit mix and it suited her perfectly. The adjustable shoulder straps were a nice feature that I haven't seen on other similar items.

The postpartum dog developed mastitis; It was amazing while she recovered.

I got this for my Siberian Husky. Three weeks after the puppies were born, she developed mastitis. This was easily remedied with a trip to the vet and some antibiotics (.and some cabbage leaves which the vet attached to her nipples - don't judge too harshly it helps) but the problem was that when she was with her puppies, she tries to get them to babysit. The solution was this sock, a survival suit from Amazon. This kept even the most voracious wet nurses from getting to her nipples and allowed

Only suitable under supervision Cannot be sterilized

Not suitable even measured. Not suitable for sterilization. After potty training, we dress them while we are with them. I had to turn the top backwards to get it to fit properly. But they can still get there if you try hard enough to move the leg hole. Wouldn't leave it unattended. This allows them to get out of the pubic cone easily and prevents them from licking under supervision. Long-haired dogs cling to Velcro. It's not easy to get on and off my long legged pup, it's easier with a short…
