DeoxIT® Mini Brush Applicator Contact Conditioner Review

Great stuff for right use. As the manufacturer correctly states, Deoxit Gold "for mission-critical applications" is indispensable for my use. It's expensive but reliable. Remember to always thoroughly clean the area where Deoxit Gold is applied.

I got this to clean contacts on an old Canon lens that wasn't responding to AF signals. I cleaned the contacts on the lens normally, but unfortunately the autofocus still didn't work. This is a vintage lens from the early 1990's so nothing to complain about in my opinion. In addition, it works great in manual focus. I have other lenses that I will apply this material to.

I use it to clean the RCA contacts on my high end amps, preamps and CD players. It really works! Quite expensive for such a small amount, but luckily it doesn't take much to do what needs to be done. If you're in the audio or home theater industry, this is what you need. Your connections get a lot messier than you think. Use it once a month and you'll be amazed at what you see and hear.

This material is amazing as is their shield and usual red color formula. This version, in my experience, had issues with the mini applicator and vial combo leaking. I ordered the 7ml brush applicator bottle and it is solid and does not leak. Leaks aside, this liquid formula is magic for all things gold plating and electrical conductivity.

I use it every time some devices behave strange and always give successful results. I'm writing a review today because my PSVita kept giving me a card removed error. At first I removed and reinserted the card several times, but nothing helped. Some deoxit gold on the card connectors and back so NO FAULTS. I really enjoyed this little bottle when I needed it.

I've been using DeoxIT Gold for my audio equipment for many years and occasionally for other equipment. Excellent material! A little goes a long way so it's nice to have a small container/brush that's easy to hold with my kit and not a huge hit if I lose it. If I can ever find it - I've had a large container of DeoxIT Gold (almost empty now) for over 25 years. This is an easy purchase if you want to improve the audio quality of your systems.

I'm not one to leave reviews, except ratings. This article deserves a review. I have a magnet light that is over 10 years old and not as bright as it used to be. I was about to order all new lights and batteries for it and saw this from a friend. So I decided to give it a try. I used a brush and applied some of this liquid to the contactor and battery. Our internet speed dropped significantly and the cable operator's computer was much faster when they tested it on site. I found my dual monitors slowed down internet speeds (who knew?), but deleting internal and external pins brought me another 100MP. ATTENTION, the instructions say to treat "heavily oxidized" contacts with the D-series first and then with this material (G-series). I think mine weren't that bad.
