Perfect fit, very easy assembly. Perfect repair for my 2009 Silverado 1500. The description said it was for a 1999-2007 pickup but worked great on my 2009 model. Google a video on trunk latch rod repair.

Sometimes all you need is the simplest thing to get things going. Being able to lower the tailgate of your pickup is very important. Once you figure out the problem, this little item will solve it. Easy and uncomplicated!

Looks like they should work and trust me I was hoping. As soon as I installed them and closed the truck door, they immediately fell out. They are too thin and cannot be compared to real ones. (Made in China) Don't let the low price fool you, it's a waste of time and money.

Amazing little things! If I had known how easy they are to install and how cheap they are, I would have bought them sooner. I struggled with a back door that I couldn't open for over a year. I ordered them after watching a YouTube video and if this girl can install them, anyone can. Amazing value for what I paid!

Made for an easy replacement to fix a tailgate that won't open and I now have extra parts for future problems. It's hard to believe that the back door of a pickup truck opens with two pieces of plastic. If you don't know how to install it, please watch the video online as the parts don't come with installation instructions.

I used one of these bar clamps to replace the one that broke on my 2003 Silverado 1500. The exchange was not a big problem after a few youtube videos. Video. This is the second time in 17 years that my Silverado pole clamp has broken. I was glad there were 3 pairs per pack. It still works. I assume this will take several years. I would recommend.

I have ordered 3 of each color just in case. My green clip is broken. I watched a few videos on You Tube and decided to attach the clip to the pole as a last resort. After 60 seconds it was done. I held a small flashlight in my mouth to free both hands, which made the task easier. It's hard to see in such a small area. Green color for passenger side, red color for driver side. Very satisfied so far after opening and closing the tailgate approx. 50 times since installation.

I used to have sticky tailgate latches but this was different. I felt like the latch on my 06 Silverado was unlocking on the left side but the right side was stuck. I loosened the three screws on the inside of the handle and removed the latch to find these little plastic link retainers that hold the link rod to the handle mechanism and one of them failed.
