2004 Jeep TJ Fits Oil Coolers and Kits

I used this as the power steering cooler on my jeep after speaking to tech support in Deral to help with sizing. They have been very helpful and their products are top notch.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Works well; Good DIY; Would recommend

Installed on my 2008 Mitsubishi L200 Sportero because I plan on pulling horses. So far I have no complaints. It took a little time to install, but each car is placed relatively in front. I wouldn't say it takes a lot of time, is a problem, or is an obstacle. I'm happy with that. would recommend.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine

Installed on a 2003 Jeep Wrangler.

Installed on a 2003 Jeep Wrangler. The radiator fit through the grille slots and was attached to the grille bracket with 5/8" Adel clamps. The included 11/32" hose was ridiculously tight, so I bought five feet of 3/8" hose instead. The IR thermometer shows that the coolant lowers the transmission oil temperature by about 10 degrees Fahrenheit.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • The list goes on.

High quality transmission oil cooler.

Installed one of these radiators on my '07 Ford Ranger and one on my brother's 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix. I like them because they offer good cooling but are small enough for cars with limited space in front of the radiator. Note that depending on the vehicle, you may need line adapters. I bought adapters for my truck because I didn't like the idea of cutting and expanding the metal transmission lines. Overall I think this is a very high quality transcooler that will last a long time but is well…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • No

A little tricky to install considering there is very little space in cars these days to work with a car, but actually the installation was a nominal difficulty. This is a plus if you have an extra room or area that you can access fairly easily when installing. I don't have a transmission temp sensor so I can't tell how much the temp has dropped, but it does flow through the block meaning there is some temperature drop. Installed on Mitsubishi Eclipse 2007 2.4L engine.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Matches my 1998 Subaru Outback very well. Installation is easy and fairly simple. This kit could be improved by slightly increasing the inner diameter of the hose - it fits the fittings very snugly. Also, there wasn't enough hose to install the radiator in my preferred position, horizontal with fittings. Point down. Instead I installed it vertically with the fittings facing the driver. While it seems to work fine in this position, airflow there is partially blocked by the bumper. Another 6 inch

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
