Enhanced Remote Mount 🔥 Fluid Cooler - Derale 13760 Hyper-Cool Review

I use this derale cooler as my remote transmission cooler. Several mountain pass rides this summer proved the value of the cooler in combination with thermostatically controlled fans.

This cooler works. Use a Derale 13021 thermostat in conjunction with the gearbox. During a voyage of nearly 1,000 miles on 95+ day days, the fluid temperature was kept below 180 degrees. Installed under the bed of my pickup truck. It's very quiet, I can't hear it when I'm in the cockpit. Use a relay to control the fan of this cooler so the thermostat doesn't have to carry the full current that the fan requires.

Installed on a 2010 Suburban LT with a 6L80E engine that did not come with a factory tow kit. The Suburban has a 3.08:1 rear axle and can now easily tow our 25 foot camper. The Trans stayed at a solid 158°F at highway speeds. I originally had Derale 13720 installed and it wasn't quite right for the application (205°F). The 13720 has a VERY noisy fan.
