I bought this because my horse now needs to soak hay before feeding which is very difficult with loose hay. This hay feeder is easy to load and dip into the drinker. Definitely makes things easier! It's very well made - I've only had it for a short time but given the durable material and solid construction I expect it to last quite a while. A bit pricey but worth it for the quality.

I bought these hay sacks on the recommendation of a friend. Haven't been able to use mine yet, but I see that they will be easy to load, easy for the horse to get hay, and won't make a huge mess on the ground, in the stable, in the parking lot, or anywhere else. use them. Huge bag. We use it on a young horse who insists on pooping wherever we put hay in his stall. The only thing I would like is that the bottom of the bag is solid so small particles don't fall to the bottom. This horse isn't rough with his bag and I've only had him for two weeks so I can't tell you about longevity but he works for what we need him for, we're not trying to slow him down, we're me just trying to keep him from pooping in it.
