Am I the only one with a hat problem?

I really like these pens but the caps don't stick to the end during use. It makes me crazy. This is so weird and I'm shocked no one has commented on this. I dig dimensions, dig ink usage and bodies, but damn caps! Why would you design pens with caps that don't stay on the back?

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

Very soft pen

These pens write very softly and great! Even with finer tipped pens, I expected them to be spiky, but not these. I bought sets in black, gray and sepia. Gray and sepia are beautiful colors and black is a very deep black even when the ink is dry. Now I prefer them to Microns and Faber Castles. I will buy it again!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Style 90

The nib disappeared in drawing media

So this pen impressed me for a second because it didn't spread or get dirty but the nib of the marker probably disappeared after 20-30 minutes of use. I made thin lines and didn't press very hard, but I can no longer use the 0.1 pen I needed. Added a photo: on one the tip is visible (this is grip 0.3), on the other there is no tip (this is grip 0.1).

Pros
  • is clear even the old
Cons
  • confused

Hopefully they come in more colors and sizes!

I wasn't too sure about this purchase but I wanted to try it. I've bought felt tip pens before and I've really had trouble with them, fluency and all, but they're really good. They don't offer enough colors, I don't know if they ever will, but sepia is good, gray is warm and black is solid. I love her! I have attached a photo of a 4 inch drawing made with Derwent Graphic Line Makers.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Little things

perfect for canvas work!

These are amazing pigment based pens that work well on acrylic painted canvases (even canvases with very textured paintwork) - something I haven't found with any other fine tip markers. They take a while to dry or they smear, but once dry they harden and subsequent application of paint or glaze will not smear or lift them. And if you have to paint over them, they won't run. I LOVE these markers - they are succulent and smooth and fun to use. I'm finally getting sharp, thin lines in my pictures.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Great pens for beginners

I liked all sizes of these pens for tracing my drawings. I also love the stylish pen case. What I like best about pens so far is that the ink doesn't ooze into my sketchbooks. My paper weighs 65 pounds. thick. I've been using them for about a month and my size 0.5 pen has already dried up and stopped working. I also didn't remove the cap to let it dry. I thought Derwent brand pens would last more than a month. I very much doubt I'll be buying them again in the future, but they were great to…

  • Nice to use
Cons

Great color, not suitable for watercolor.

These pens have an excellent graphite colour. If you try to shade, you can either do it through layers or change the speed of the pen on the paper. (slower = darker, faster = lighter) That being said, feathering and feathering are significant on paper not seen on similar liners/pens. Moving the pen quickly can help avoid leakage, but bleeding is still a problem. Also, I wouldn't recommend using them for watercolor painting as they won't stand up to a wet brush even after drying for 72 hours. .

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
