Nice looking razor, sharp enough straight out of the box but definitely needs to go over the strap more than a few times to be ready for a shave. The wristband that came with it broke the first time it was used. I didn't have a case with me as described.

This is a good price for a lanyard that comes with wax and canvas lanyard. However, the razor wasn't that good. I made sure to run the razor up and down 100 times. This razor doesn't seem to hold the blade, it just grinds and cuts in the middle of a shave. I barely make a pass before it gets stuck in my hair. I threw away the razor but kept the sling and wax.

This is a really nice gift, this was for me and I loved it and that's it. A very honest razor, the handle with it is a little flimsy and not very comfortable in the hand, but comfortable enough. I know a little about gold dollars Maybe a 'custom' series? I know what kind of problems you might run into, for example my example has a rather noticeable spinal curve. In my head I know they can do better because I've seen them. There is no reason anyone should have looked at this razor and noticed the twist/turn in the spine and blade misalignment. Pleasantly surprised by this razor. I use it to learn sharpening. I don't want to ruin an expensive quality razor so I'll use this one. I may buy another one to test different grinding methods at the same time. For example, I apply Jnat Finish on one and add a cuticle edge on the other. Then I can test both and hopefully improve. Great razor for a specific purpose.

Razor is OK but the belt has become moldy during storage. The first returned, the second is the same. The manufacturer must include a desiccant.
