Large Heat Shield Wire

Purchased to protect the throttle wires on the carb as they run along the top of the engine. Works great, no problems so far.

1996 Miata Parts

Great for protecting the heater hose from a variety of radiant heat. Using scissors, cut from top to bottom and then wrap it around the tubing. Nice tight fit!

  • Great Design

DEI Exhaust & Emission Fuel Line Tape

Great product! I used it on my fuel to prevent the vapor lock I had before. Since I posted it in the lines I haven't had a problem yet!

Works well but breaks easily

This product works great but breaks easily. Within 30-60 days it would discolor and wear off, but it works very well as a heat shield.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Some flaws

Definitely heat resistant

I bought this to protect some aftermarket wiring in my 300ZX turbo. The most convenient place then was next to the turbine downspouts and over time the wires overheated a bit and the casing melted. I came across this as a heat resistant solution and installed it immediately after wiring repair. I installed it for several years until I finally found a more ideal place to run cables. Both the high temperature loom and the wires showed no wear or damage. I am sure that its use will be successful…

Cons
  • Ugly packaging
