Works well: Spares

Works well as advertised, I complain the brand's heat shrink is too small and doesn't hold the film in place well. Instead, I used metal straps.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Great looks and functionality

This product looks and feels good! Got my hoses tightened and also protected from the heat. The DEI marked heat shrink tubing is a nice touch too. They can be used to keep warm indoors or outdoors.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Ideal for protecting the ThermoPro meat thermometer wires from contact with grill surfaces. Tip: To prevent the cuff from fraying when cutting, wrap tape around the area to be cut. A shrink tip in place, I removed the tape, applied heat and that was it.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • unfashionable item

Worked great and added some extra touches to match mine.

Didn't use them for their intended purpose as they didn't slip over the spark plug wire so ended up using them to decorate the fuel lines. Worked great and added a little extra touch to match my pipe wrap on the cafe racer. Follow the instructions and videos on YouTube. I have a few left over in case I need to replace the spark plug leads in the future.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Unusable features

You should take your wires apart if possible, mine didn't.

Very misleading that you have to cut them to fit and then struggle with them to put them on the end of the connector (IF IT'S A STRAIGHT ONE). Then when you put the shrink wrap on, it doesn't move at all. I ended up throwing everything in the trash. Just burn your money instead. 22Dallar robs. When they say it fits larger wire, they mean wire, not connector ends.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Not designed for 8 cylinder engines

Comes with sufficient heat shrink tubing for 4 or 6 cylinder vehicles only, box part number 010475 says it contains 10 heat shrink tubes, box YI was 12 , so I specified 4 or 6 cylinders. Maybe somewhere else in the world they have 5 cylinder engines and that is why only 10 are included from the factory, this should not be for sale in the US, I hope this info saves someone some money.

Pros
  • Shrink wrap, mats and covers
Cons
  • Damaged

Also great for fuel lines

Don't listen to other reviews that have a start, they don't know that the rubber boot on the ends of the spark plugs comes loose THEN put the sun on. I mainly use them on fuel lines to avoid vapor locks. Also used on a jumper cable that hates life near the plug. for your information; If you want to cut it, first wrap tape around the area to be cut, and then cut off the tape. Makes cuts with precision and does not fade.

Pros
  • Exhaust and emissions
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Not the cheapest but definitely high quality!

This product was used to move a fuel injection line which is susceptible to heat and abrasion. the "Chinese finger puzzle" method (it will be a little wider when you bring the ends together then you can smooth it out for a precise fit). Heat shrink tubing is essential to prevent fraying on each end and luckily there are ten of them on this roll! Very happy with this product!

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Can't remember
