Easy to install in exhaust and muffler

Easy to install and perfectly fits my 1994 Harley Davidson Sportster starter motor. I did not take the temperature with the sign on.

Pros
  • Heat Shields
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Good protection at an affordable price.

Ideal for Ford Powerstroke starters. Quick and easy installation with Velcro. Reflective material and fairly thick fibers seem to provide more than enough insulation for this purpose.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Can be retrofitted

Works well in spares

I used this on my 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix and it matches the starter motor very well. When driving spiritedly, my manifolds heated the starter motor and prevented the car from starting. Installing this heat shield seems to have prevented this on my last mountain fun.
