So far, so good. What everyone should know. Especially for black women.

NOTE: Ladies, any product you use requires you to first put on protective clothing. VALUE: This means applying a proven hair and scalp conditioner like Africa's Maximum Strength Super Gro, Palmer's Bergamot Formula, etc. before applying your Edge Control product. Any hair and scalp conditioner you like. REASON: Your front ends are the most delicate part of your hair. The edges tend to become dry and brittle. If you use an edge protection product without protection, it will become drier andโ€ฆ

Not a fan. GENERAL! for styling products

This material did NOT hold my hair. It never gets installed. It just stays sticky. "Smooth Max Power" was the ultimate disappointment. No better than using Elmer's glue in your hair. I won't even leave it as a backup, it's going in the trash. :( I go back to Hicks Edge Control.

If your hair is difficult to control.

It works so well it keeps my nerves! I'm straight so it's hard for me to find something that suits me and when I'm successful I stick with it. I used Olive Oil Edge Control and it worked, but I went to the salon and she used it and I loved it. I applied some yesterday before work and held it with my scarf for about 15 minutes. It lasted all day yesterday and I didn't have to use more when I got up to go to work today. If I can't find anything even better, I'll be using this from now on!

SMALL BUT POWERFUL AND POWERFUL

This little gel jar is small but strong and powerful. My edges are so stacked after using this product. I love it. Before I applied this gel, my hair was tightly curled around the edges, but once I apply this gel to the edges, it's like a miracle in a jar! and I ended up with a lot of gray edges that are worse than your normal edges! It's so hard to paint over gray hair, period! I WANT A VERY, VERY LARGE CAN OF THIS PRODUCT BUT I WILL USE A SMALL JAR. I used to buy KeraCare Edge Handler because

The natural ingredients stated by the seller are a COMPLETE LIE. the real ingredients are mostly chemical. Avoid this scam.

Ingredients listed by seller are completely WRONG. I bought this product because I was very impressed with all of the natural ingredients listed in the description. I try to use as many natural products as possible, so this extreme gel seemed perfect to me. To my surprise, when the product arrived, the ingredients listed were completely different. Gets flaky when you need to use more product.

Suitable if you are a person with color and "style" for children's hair. However, I have the thickest natural African hair type (Chinese hair companies and people on social media call it "4C") and I have terrible curls. To style edges or roots at the edge of my hair, I have to use more of this product than usual. However, the product will become white and flaky as it dries out with frequent use.

Smoothness and shine are good for styling products

First of all I'm African American with naturally curly hair and I had a really hard time finding a product to smooth my edges but I found it! The only reason I don't give it five stars is that it doesn't stay for very long, maybe 2 hours.
