Just easy to install!

I returned the spout after installation because it looks and feels like a dollar store. It's not that I don't like all dollar stores. But I want the tub spout to look and feel like something George Patton would have. If you don't mind the wafer-thin plastic switch, you can save money with this spout. My dad would love that as he didn't care about things like "hey, I must have really great plumbing". This spout would have stayed on the pipe Dad installed in 1967 and would have worked fine. But…

100% awesome! Best in the category Bathtub faucet

I can't even describe how satisfied I am with this product! For months I've been looking for an oiled bronze branch pipe that will work on unthreaded pipe. Other brands advertise that they work, and most of them even include instructions on how to use their spout on a non-threaded pipe, but they don't include the threaded adapter needed to install the spout (and you can't buy an adapter anywhere! ), so I ordered this one instead, particularly for the ease of installation on unthreaded pipes…

Works for both tightening and cutting.

Based on a review I decided to buy these to use on my threaded spout. I had some trouble trying to remove the plastic insert by hand. It's glued. The photo shows the glue strips. But it is possible! First turn the locking screw all the way in or out so that it does not touch the metal body of the spout. I pulled out the channel lock and grabbed it. Then I put these channel caps in a vise and unscrewed the spout with my hands. Ready. If I remember correctly, the thread starts about 4 inches from
