I bought this product because of the great price and was looking for matte black holders. Others noted that it was more black. It worked great. I crossed my fingers and ordered this one. I was hoping it would be black. I was NOT disappointed! It is perfect and looks blacker than oiled bronze. It is well made and easy to assemble. There are tiny bronze elements, but if you are looking for oiled bronze, you can choose another holder. Very happy with this purchase.

Bought to replace the original holder which is over 15 years old. Includes two wall mounting plates, screws and wall plugs. I didn't have to use wall plates as the bracket matched the original mounting plates perfectly. Hex head screws would be much easier to work with than the standard slotted grub screws provided. The new finish is a smooth dark brown/bronze color with polished edges, without the vulgar scratched finish of many other "oiled bronze" fixtures. It does its job and looks good…

This product looks nice in my bathroom but no instructions were provided which was annoying. So, after a quick youtube video search for toilet paper holder installation instructions, I figured it out and was almost done until it came down to locking the rods in place. Screws on the bottom of the bars, they don't attach to the metal clip. Eventually I realized the metal clips were facing backwards so I flipped them over and they finally snapped into place! That crap aside, I'm happy with it now.

I bought this TP holder along with several other matching towel rails and hooks. Seems to be of fairly good quality and the holder uses the standard base attachment method, then slides the finished cap onto the top and then secures the cap with a set screw.
