I disagree that they're easy to install. The springs on the clips that secure the fasteners to the drywall are very strong. Luckily we were able to work partly upstairs as we have a false ceiling in our kitchen. We attached a clamp with heavy gauge wire, inserted the bracket, and then released the wire. We are happy with the results. The lighting took a little getting used to as it is much brighter than the fluorescent lights they replaced.

An electrician had some things to do for the house, one of them installed 3 of these beauties in a dim kitchen. They were ideal for rooms with little overhead space. (Height just over 6 inches) Provides lots of light! 75 W equivalent at approx. 13.1 W consumption. The electrician was so enthusiastic that he will use it for himself. Bought the recommended dimmer which also worked great. Advantages: easy installation, cheap price, decorative magnetic disks, great energy saving. Cons: Nothing.

TL:DR is a great retrofit option for high CRI LEDs for downlights. The house is being prepared for sale. These lights have a scissor clip which is very easy to install as a replacement for previous lights. Please note that contrary to what the company claims is a compatible dimmer, if you connect more than 2 of these bulbs in a circuit you will hear a noticeable load hum at the dimmer switch.
