Works as promised.

Works as advertised. I attached it to my crafting/sewing table. I can connect a sewing machine or any other tool I need and I use USB to connect my tablet so I can listen to audiobooks or music while I craft/sew.

Identical to expensive commercial unit

I had to buy 20 of these units for my office renovation. I used to give them to an office furniture company, but one day I saw how much my company paid for them. If it weren't for the huge price difference I wouldn't even suggest buying them cheaper from Revain. The device I opened my big mouth for when it came time to produce it allowed me to buy only ONE! I didn't say one was in stock, only one per customer. Luckily this device was one of the items on offer that I wanted AND IT WAS! Excellent

For small table tops only

I bought several of these for new tables. However, they don't open up enough for the countertop sizes we have. They only open about 1-1/4 inches. I have 1 3/4" countertops so I need to return them.

Opinion of IT experts: Two thumbs up.

As the name suggests, I'm an IT professional. I bought this to move some jacks and add some USB sockets to my desktop so I don't have to bend over the power strip. I use it at my work place where I bring computers in for repair or troubleshooting. The build quality is very industrial. The cable is large and durable. It was exactly what I was looking for and I would buy it again anytime. My only wish is that they do more and maybe find a way to lower the price a bit without sacrificing quality.
