My son will be 5 next month and this jacket is quite good. We are size 5-6 and he will be perfect until he is 6. He usually wears size 4 clothes and they run small. It's definitely smaller. I've added a few photos so you can see how it fits. It's quite good on his hands, maybe a little long, but that's why it will last at least a year. It fits his torso perfectly. The jacket is light - I think it is suitable for autumn and spring rains. He likes to play outside, so a light jacket will do.
