very comfortable inner frame backpacks

Bought this for my nephew on his first European adventure - it came in handy when he was traveling in France. The only downside is that I tried to wear it as a backpack and it was uncomfortable for me - my nephew is 6ft tall, I'm 5ft tall, but overall I'm excited about the project, there will be many adventures to come .

Great for travel

This bag worked great. At Southwest it was allowed to be taken as hand luggage and fitted perfectly in the trunk. I took off the smaller day pack and kept my book etc with me and hid it under the seat in front of me. With a waist belt, although I'd packed enough for a couple of days, including toiletries and electronics, I wasn't overwhelmed. When I got on a plane or other places where you can't take a backpack, I removed part of the backpack and used the shoulder strap. It was something I had…

Great outdoor holdall

This is more of an holdall than a holdall. I used it as hand luggage and they let me on the plane with it (I didn't pack the bottom compartment to compress and make smaller on board). Very well made, durable. I also use it for hiking and it's very convenient. Even carrying 50+ pounds of stuff in it for several hours, my shoulders and neck don't hurt at all. If you hike a lot, you probably need something with lots of pockets and different compartments. It's very easy. A large compartment (with a

This backpack is perfect

I am an avid traveler and I have to say this backpack is perfect in every way. I don't normally write reviews but I was blown away by the quality of the backpack and want to thank Deuter for a great job. I traveled with him in Colorado, Egypt and Colombia for over a month. If you ditch your everyday bag (and call it a laptop bag) and turn the rest of your backpack into a holdall, it meets even the most stringent carry-on requirements (I even had to slide it into one of those metal slots to…

Not enough space to write everything I have to say so I'll list some of the best aspects of this bag. Note: The bag has an integrated pocket for backpack straps, so when used as a carry-on it looks like a carry-on. Excellent zippers in every way. Adjustable straps on main backpack. Comfortable shoulder strap mini bag! It was a surprise. 2 bags in one! - Internal straps to keep your belongings in place like a suitcase - no matter where you go - Expandable main compartment - **Removable barrier…

Ideal for traveling backpackers

For a 6 week solo trip to South America I spent 9 months looking for bags. I needed something I could take into the jungle, carry around town, and not have to control. Verifying is a pain. You risk losing your bags and that slows you down. Check = items are always available to you. If I hadn't found this bag, I would have gone with a traditional backpack, but I wanted to avoid issues with straps, packing straps, and anything that doesn't stand out. at the box office as too big and obnoxious and
