Haven't really tried using them. I should have paid more attention, the curve is going down (if correct). I think it would be awkward and I'd rather look up or straight ahead.

I should have bought these a few years ago, great little kit that makes eating crab legs so much easier. Everyone who has used them praises their effectiveness.

Perfect shrimp shape. They're a little brittle, but the shrimp are very tender, so it's not a big deal. Make sure you don't use them for anything other than what they're made for and you'll be fine.

These are made for shrimp but strong enough to crack through thin slices of lobster shell! Excellent purchase. Crackers are ok. But honestly, if you want something more, spend the extra money and buy these mammoth reds.

Today I was able to cut a large 2 pound claw of a lobster with scissors and also easily trimmed the tail and other parts of the lobster. Worked well, I'm thrilled. which is not easy. Not bad! It was difficult to get through all the 2lb claws but that was to be expected as they are like stone.

We love to eat crab legs, lobster and shrimp at least once a year, if not more often! These tools were AMAZING! We used to be a bit hesitant about crab legs because of the work and the aching hands afterwards. However, there was NO MORE! Eating crab legs is SO EASY with them! Definitely recommend!

I've used it far away and it works. I went to a restaurant that served crab legs and using these scissors is way better than using the little claw tool the restaurant offers. I don't want to work to enjoy my food, I want the food to get into my mouth as quickly and easily as possible. You'll still get dirty, but it doesn't take much effort to rip open the crab shells. I got a few weird looks when I brought my own scissors to cut the crabs, but they all ended up using and loving them.

I LOVE these fish shears! I used to peel shrimp with a sharp paring knife, or in a pinch (usually outdoors and away from home) with a Leatherman Wave. A sharp knife can cut through the shell of the shrimp, and then you can get to the sandy vein. But with these scissors, you no longer have to worry about how deep you cut the shrimp.
