My husband wanted to use this to sand/smooth the inside of his woodturning bowls. It does the job although it's a bit heavier I expected it to serve its purpose and feel solid and well made. Now that I've tried it it will find many more uses. Not the same product as some of the similar others with negative comments about quality.
The drill threw bits of plastic out of the rear vents when first turned on. Then the device began to heat up and smoke. Obviously there is no quality control in the house of this manufacturer. I would not recommend buying this drill press. On the plus side, the seller gave me the option to send me another drill or get my money back. I took a refund.
Good angle drill. Angle drills are most commonly used for shell grinding on a lathe. This works very well when using separately purchased bowl sanding attachments (sandpaper and mandrel). I wouldn't use it for drilling or screw driving as it lacks the power of a good drill, but it does very well for what it's designed for. The handle is comfortable and the head has a good angle for grinding.
