It turned out to be a very good choice.

I was hesitant at the time of review because some previous buyers felt this drill bit was not fast enough for woodworking. Also, others found it difficult to control speed (e.g. screwing). I disagree with both comments. It turned out to be a very good choice.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥

Sweet drill! in impact drills

If your cordless drill just can't keep up or you only have a few hours to drill holes, here's your ticket. I've had this drill for about a year now. and used it a lot more than I expected. It never fails, even under heavy loads. I've read a few reviews that say DeWalt motors fail pretty quickly. I've had no problems with any of my cordless or wired DeWalt motors. I can definitely recommend this drill. My only two "complaints" are that it doesn't have a 1/2" chuck and it doesn't have a side…

HARD WIRE DRILL fits drill press

I bought a dw222 spacer stand for 50.00. I think this is a great drill, I really like the push button spindle lock. It's simple but works great. The cartridge is simple (no ratchet) but holds the bits tight. I think the trigger is too sensitive (for me). The torque is good, but with big bits I have to pay attention to the speed, this drill bit stalls. My Milwaukee Magnum 302 has never stalled in the 3 years I've had it. owned it. The DW 222 is ideal for drilling small to medium-sized chisels…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Drill bit pack
