DEWALT DW222: 6 7 Amp Variable Reversible Power Tool for Precision and Versatility Review

I was hesitant at the time of review because some previous buyers felt this drill bit was not fast enough for woodworking. Also, others found it difficult to control speed (e.g. screwing). I disagree with both comments. It turned out to be a very good choice.

I bought a dw222 spacer stand for 50.00. I think this is a great drill, I really like the push button spindle lock. It's simple but works great. The cartridge is simple (no ratchet) but holds the bits tight. I think the trigger is too sensitive (for me). The torque is good, but with big bits I have to pay attention to the speed, this drill bit stalls. My Milwaukee Magnum 302 has never stalled in the 3 years I've had it. owned it.
