On my first attempt to purchase this grinder, I received a poorly sealed "open box". I immediately requested a replacement and received a new grinder the next day. She had no problem with anything I did to her. The steering column switch works great and the guard is very easy to adjust or remove. I have a problem, but it's actually Dewalt's fault.
