D180005 DEWALT 🔴 14-Piece Hole Saw Set Review

I have many Dewalt products and they are great. This hole saw kit is complete junk. Consistently bad quality. I sent mine back for a refund because it was incomplete, the mandrels were missing parts and the 1 3/8 and up hole saw mandrel was not even included. The mandrels could not be "quickly changed" and did not have the guide lugs of the standard mandrel. Cannot be used without buying or borrowing mandrels from my other Irwin and Milwaukee kits. Dewalt should not allow this inferior product…

As many others have complained about, the delivered version is NOT the advertised version. There are no "quick-change" legs in the kit, there's no cardboard cutout on the lid to show where things go, everything dangles and jingles inside, and the box is taped shut on the outside. Very disappointed in DeWalt for missing this in their quality control. I only kept it because I needed it urgently for work, but you should buy it elsewhere and in person to make sure you get what you expect.

Not sure if it's CPO Outlets or Revain but now they want us to pay to ship back the broken crap they are sending us now. What I received is very similar to the last reviews. The details didn't even fit in the suitcase. The case was printed and the spikes don't look like advertised at all. I was looking forward to no tool drill but received the "Item May Vary" model with the same part number. With small hole saws, the drill bits simply screw in and once you've drilled the hole you need channel locks to take it apart. And big drill bits are the old model where you screw the pins into the hole saw instead of moving the pins up and down. Not that convenient. I ordered this set thinking I would pay for a better quality set. What I got was similar but different. The snails were significantly different from the picture on the web, no manual, although the packaging clearly states that you must read the manual before use. There was no diagram in the lid of the box, and the manual may have been there as well. The color has come off in some places. A saw didn't fit and ended up under one of the drill bits.
