You can't go wrong with this heat gun.

This is a great hairdryer. I have two, one for work and one for home. I use homemade mainly to remove labels. At work I use it to remove the paper from the shelf and to preheat the vinyl composite tile before laying, and to take out the curve of the floor of the vinyl bay and fold it around the outside corners. I run it continuously for over an hour at a time, no problem. The heating is regulated throughout the range by turning the black control knob on the back. clockwise increases the heat…

Good choice for non-industrial environments

According to a review by Regis Staley I bought this to replace some golf club grips. Unfortunately it didn't work with my old beryllium nickel ping ISK sticks. Not only is the metal very unusual, but Ping probably used some sort of secret aviation epoxy back then. Even my flashlight, which I ended up using, took a while to open this post. Doesn't get hot after a few uses / Replaced

I've owned this gun for 14 months but have only used it a couple of times to shrink wrap on electrical connectors. The last time I tried the gun, the motor was running but not getting hot. I took it to a repair center and they said you are right, the motor runs but doesn't get hot. There is also no way to repair it as there are no replacement parts for this tool. I called Devalt. They said you have a one-year replacement warranty and a three-year warranty against defects. I said that this heat…
