🪚 DEWALT D284932 Grinding Flange with Cutting Capability Review

Would not recommend this grinder for heavy-duty projects. As my tests showed, it struggled to cut through thick metal without overheating and shutting off frequently. The compact size was a plus, but overall, the lack of power was a major drawback.

Got a 5/8-11 spindle on my 7-9" Milwaukee grinder that needed it so I could get the 7/8" wheels at the correct height with attached could use dust cover. We use a hand held concrete grinder and if you are using a non-threaded cup wheel this is a must. Suitable for several brands of coffee grinders.

The flange kit was just what I needed to use a Type 1 disc for your protection. I heard that the original protection will be bent somehow and it will work. I admit that sometimes you have to completely remove the protection to make a cut. You need to be EXTRA careful when using the grinder. Otherwise it is a practical addition to the perfect coffee grinder.
