Game Changer

This weapon is a game changer. Make sure you have already purchased Dewalt batteries. The gun is heavy, more than you think, but don't let that put you off buying this gun to save you time and money in the long run. Strongly shoots nails and sinks them, including the rods of the rings. Every time someone sees it at a construction site, they ask to try it and comment on how cool it is.

Great for framing! Had to replace gun due to electrical issue

I would give this tool 5 stars but after 5 magazines and light use the gun has not reset the joint light, I have tried everything I have emailed have sent. Dewalt service center and they told me to visit my local Dewalt workshop about 35 minutes drive from my home, the service technician investigated my problem and was unable to fire the gun. They took the old one and sent a new one 3 days later. last. I am very satisfied with the shotgun and the service from Dewalt.

Big Cannon - EXCEPT.

I already owned the DCN692M1 and have just bought the DCN21PLM1. The main reason for upgrading/replacing is that nails for the DCN692 are often hard to come by and moreover are not 'code' in a growing number of municipalities. The DCN21 itself is a great gun and the only downside I've noticed so far is the increased weight and size - hence the one star deduction. The product/kit gets an additional star because DeWalt is so cheap as it doesn't offer hard cases. I was going to use the hard caseโ€ฆ
