much louder than expected, covers 0.4 acres

I don't know what "transparency" is but I have no complaints. Covers about 0.4 acres with sound as you would expect, can't hear it from behind a lawnmower or whatever but it can play high quality sound from one side of my yard to the other.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not the best

Beat Blaster Portable Bluetooth Speakers

Carrying this thing around the house and garage all day working on Dewaltz batteries with acid! Reminds me of the days of carrying a boombox, walking down the street with a big box on my shoulder, looking funny and banging beats into my head in the 80's.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Problems

Excellent sound quality. The speaker connects to my phone a few seconds after turning it on. Went to these from old computer speakers in my garage and the difference is amazing. When the power went out, I put a battery on it and listened to music. You don't necessarily need a wireless function, but it's good to have one in case of an emergency.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Repair

Bluetooth mode does not work in hot weather.

This product stops working in Bluetooth mode in hot weather. I thought I could enjoy this device by the pool and even kept the device in a shady place to protect the LCD, but it stopped working. As soon as I brought it inside and let it cool down, it started working again.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Full upgrade good for portable audio and video

Got this as a gift for my dad who recently broke his old Dewalt radio and it was a complete upgrade from his last one! He hasn't stopped using it and it's only been 24 hours! I hope it takes all the work for him as he is a carpenter so has to go through some unsafe conditions. Will update if anything happens but I recommend! Costs money.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Good Sound: Portable speakers and docks

I'm a contract worker and I have more DeWalt cordless tools than I can count so batteries aren't an issue. However, I did not buy it as a workplace radio. For that, I prefer a phone case with a tool belt to play or stream content so quietly that I can hear it without disturbing others. So this purchase should simplify my current campfire sound system which is wired, heavy and bulky as we use it on both backyard campfires and wilderness campgrounds. The system I'm talking about is the Bose…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No gun
