I used this to remove old thin mortar from a concrete wall after removing old ceramic tiles. It is very aggressive and works fast. This thing will probably last forever because it's barely stripped the paint off half the teeth.

I tried using different diamond angle grinders to smooth the inside of a glass oven door. There must be an accumulation of glass and refractory that forms over time that has been impenetrable to everything I've tried. This one goes straight through though - it was fun to watch! It's pretty amazing.

I bought this accessory to sand down the residue on the concrete floor after removing the tiles. I also had to sand some concrete where I had leveled the curved corner of the sunken shower. The thing worked great! Almost too good! I used a dust cover and a vacuum to get the dust out, but there was still a cloud of dust. I strongly recommend a dual-cartridge respirator for this; no paper dust mask. Also wear glasses.

This type of turbine wheel tends to be aggressive when it comes to material removal. Grinding wheels with concentric rings can increase tool life when grinding flat surfaces. The blades protrude beyond the edge of the wheel and help abrade the adjacent surface as the tool and wheel are moved from side to side. The edge of the wheel limits the amount of material that can be removed in one pass. A 5 inch diameter disc requires a grinder strong enough to drive it at the appropriate speed. match…
